HOA has abandoned Dos Vientos

I remember 20 years ago or so, Dos Vientos was a planned community being built in a picture’sque area. Lots of trees and open space, with grand entrances and beautiful new houses. I couldnt afford to live there, but always marveled at how nice everything looked. Over the years, I visited friends there now and then, and was impressed that landscaping crews were always busy, keeping it neat and trim. When I finally moved in, I was happy. But over the years I noticed that while the landscapers did a great job, they ignored the Borchard entrance monument. The landscapers bypass it completely when trimming the center median plants and have even planted new trees that further obscure it. Neither the HOA nor the city have responded when asked why they have allowed it to become overgrown to the point that it has almost disappeared. Its hard to take pride in living in paradise when the gateway is decaying.
