10TH ANNUAL VENTURA COUNTY FARM DAY

Farm Day is proudly presented by SEEAG, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that educates students and the greater community about the farm origins of our food and agriculture’s contribution to our nutritional well-being. A community-wide event with over 30 participating locations! It is a dedicated day for the community to get a hands-on learning experience about our local agricultural industry.

VETERANS DAY OBSERVANCE IN MOORPARK

Presented by the American Legion Moorpark Post 502, the City of Moorpark,  American Legion Auxiliary, Boy Scouts of America, Forty & Eight, and Kiwanis Club of Moorpark. The groups will honor the men and women who have served, who are serving and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

VETERAN’S DAY COMMEMORATION AT REAGAN LIBRARY

The day’s activities include live musical entertainment, a civil war encampment, a military vehicle display, a program honoring all branches of our military, and remarks by keynote speaker and US Army Veteran Brad Taylor. Brad Taylor served for 21 years, retiring as a Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel, with his final assignment as the Assistant Professor of Military Science at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. Outdoor events and the program are free to attend; however, reservations are recommended to attend the program.

SANTA CLAUS PARACHUTE AT JANSS MARKETPLACE

Jingle Bell Jump Santa Arrival! Santa Claus will jump from the sky for a spectacular parachute landing at Janss Marketplace at noon on Friday, November 25, 2022. The best viewing area is around the main fountain. The free holiday celebration continues until 3 p.m. with face painters, a magic show, kids’ crafts, story time with Mrs. Claus, live seasonal music, and Santa’s Village (visits with Santa and his gang).
