On the Front Lines: Where We the People Stand Depends on Who Has the Guns

There is a saying sometimes called “Miles’ Law” because it is attributed to Rufus Miles, a U.S. government official in the early twentieth century. Miles remarked, “Where you stand depends on where you sit. Naturally, they support a policy change that directly benefits their department.”

In Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals  the author wrote: “The essence of Lenin’s speeches during this period was, ‘They have the guns and therefore we are for peace and for reformation through the ballot. When we have the guns then it will be through the bullet.’ And it was.”

Obtaining “the guns” and using them to rule with force has been Marxism 101 from the beginning. But, until recently, people didn’t believe it could happen here in the United States of America. All nations which succumbed to armed fascist/Marxist oppressors have something in common: they all falsely thought it couldn’t happen to them, either.

Let’s put this into context with respect to recent events. A new training video from the U.S. Navy, released in late June, features actors preaching about creating “safe spaces” by using “preferred” pronouns. These people may seem to have lost their collective minds in trying to pass this rubbish off as “training” for our service members. But keep in mind that he who controls the military controls a lot of guns. Something bigger is going on, and it reeks of a classic Marxist tactic where you start at the top and replace generals with political hacks. The goal is to shape the military to serve your politics.

Once the generals are in lockstep agreement on some agenda, then you transform the ranks all the way down. In this present case, service members are taught to use the “right pronouns” instead of learning to fight and win battles on an actual battlefield. Service members are not allowed to disagree if they want any future in the military. So the “right” sort of service member is retained in this powerful selection process, and an ideological “purity” sets in. Those who disagree are culled or washed out. Those who remain are either woke ideologues or those who go along to get along.

Why would political and military leaders want to replace patriots with woke ideologues? Could it be that these leaders are reshaping society and recasting the enemy not as a foreign foe but as anyone among “we the people” who disagrees with their cultural agenda?

Consider that the U.S. Attorney General, the Secretary of Education, and the National School Boards Association conspired to mobilize the FBI against parents and labeled those who spoke up at school board meetings in Loudoun County, Virginia, as “domestic terrorists.”

Tie that to the insane policies of legalizing theft, preventing police from enforcing the law, and making it virtually impossible to run a business in certain neighborhoods because criminals run amok. This isn’t actually insane behavior. Rather, it is a plan that isn’t aligned with your interests. When you want to impose a new system with new rules, you first cause the old one to fail. Then political and military leaders have reason to intervene and implement more centralized control — always allegedly to keep people safe. Peaceful protests are vilified as dire threats to America. Meanwhile, they encourage the literal burning of cities for months on end.

So it goes when we fight the masking of our children or question the “science” behind an untested, ineffective, unproven injection. So it goes when people gather to wave flags and protest unwanted policies. Suddenly, this is “insurrection.” Free will and informed consent must bow to the new narrative, the new culture being imposed by the hand-selected leaders willing to enforce and go along with it.

Are we getting the picture yet?

Even if you don’t recognize it, the ones leading the way are fully aware of the game plan. One such zealot is billionaire leftist George Soros, who essentially took control of district attorney offices around the country while few were paying attention. This is why urban D.A.s are letting crime run rampant. Elected with Soros’s money, they are causing the old system to fail, ushering in the new one.

The next move in the Marxist playbook is particularly egregious — and predictable. History shows that wicked regimes confiscate arms from their citizens. Preventing this was the express, literal purpose of the Second Amendment to our Constitution, which states: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

After the 2008 landmark Supreme Court case District of Columbia v. Heller , which dealt with the right to own a handgun, the late Justice Antonin Scalia said, “Undoubtedly some think the Second Amendment is outmoded in a society where our standing army is the pride of our nation, where well-trained police officers provide personal security, and where gun violence is a problem. That is perhaps debatable, but what is not debatable is that it is not the role of this court to pronounce the Second Amendment extinct.”

Scalia knew that the Second Amendment and the other protections endowed to us in the Bill of Rightswere not meant to be altered. The Second Amendment was not created to give American citizens a gun for hunting or even for self-protection. It was created to afford all citizens the right to defend themselves against government tyranny.

There is simply nothing more to be said about the sacred importance of the Second Amendment to our Republic. Americans have the right and advantage of being armed – it is the great equalizer to stop a tyrannical government and provide American citizens with the ability to defend themselves from evil on all fronts.

The enemies of our Republic are for peace until they have the guns. Once they have the guns, they will come for yours.
